Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (PGD)

PGD programy jsou ideální pro profesionály hledající novou výzvu, specializaci nebo pro ty, kteří chtějí změnit dosavadní kariéru.
V nabídce jsou  odborné programy určené pro zájemce o intenzivní úvod do klíčových odvětví v sektoru hotelových a pohostinských služeb.

Vstupní požadavky: bakalářský titul v jakémkoliv oboru nebo 3 roky kvalifikované praxe v hotelovém průmyslu, angličtina min. TOEFL 525 (196 u testu na počítači) nebo IELTS 5,5 nebo 62 bodů testu přímo od SHMS.

Délka studia: 1 rok (1 semestr výuky + 4-6 měsíců praxe (internship), s adekvátní praxí pouze 1 semestr!!!

  • 1. rok
    I. semestr
    - 5 měsíců studia, výuka 28 hod/týden, předměty: Food & Beverage Management, Food & Beverage Service Management (teorie i praxe), Food & Beverage Service Practical,  Food & Beverage Production Management (teorie i praxe), Food & Beverage Cost Control, Hospitality Studies, Computer Studies I, Accounting Principles, Personal Development and Communication, French or German
    II. semestr - 4-6 měsíců praxe placená praxe (internship) 
     
  • 2. rok
    III. semestr
    - 5 měsíců studia, výuka 28 hod/týden, předměty: Front Office/Rooms Division Management, Front Office Operations, Housekeeping Management, Housekeeping Operations, Marketing, Introduction to Geography of Tourism, Travel & Tourism Industry Management I, Banqueting and Events, Introduction to Events, Financial Accounting, Business Communication, French or German
    IV. semestr - 4-6 měsíců praxe placená praxe (internship)
    zakončeno: Swiss Diploma in Hotel Operation Management
     
  • 3. rok
    V. semestr*
    - 5 měsíců studia ve zvoleném oboru (International Hospitality Management, Hospitality & Events Management nebo Hospitality & Tourism Management), výuka 26 hod/týden, přehled předmětů viz. přiložená tabulka*
    zakončeno: Swiss Higher Diploma ve zvoleném oboru
    VI. semestr* - 5 měsíců studia ve zvoleném oboru (International Hospitality Management, Hospitality & Events Management nebo Hospitality & Tourism Management), výuka 40 hod/týden, přehled předmětů viz. přiložená tabulka*
    zakončeno: British BA (Hons) Degree ve zvoleném oboru
     
  • 4. rok
    VII. semestr
    - 5 měsíců studia (Masters of Arts in International Hospitality)
    Certificate Stage: Research Mathodologies, Marketing and Public Relations, Management and Leadership Across Cultures, Hospitality Operations Management
    Diploma Stage: Consultancy and Research, Innovation for Associate Events, Strategic Directions, Business Analysis and Decision Making
    VIII. semestr - 5 měsíců nezávislého studia Master Stage
    zakončeno: British Master of Arts in International Hospitability Management
